The Solstice Foundation is a nonprofit organization with the mission to mobilize the caring power of Solstice Restaurant friends, patrons, and family, to support worthy charitable organizations and individuals while upholding the core values that have helped the restaurant thrive: Family, Community, Health, and Education.
The Arc is a private, non-profit membership organization committed to providing creative, flexible and diversified supports for people with developmental disabilities and their families. Founded in 1966 by parents and volunteers dedicated to promoting the dignity of and improving the opportunities for children with developmental disabilities, The Arc has grown into a dynamic organization which provides services and supports for over 550 individuals and over 1,000 families in Southeastern Massachusetts.
A New England based non-profit organization, Make Waves is a Donor Advised Fund part of the Roth Family Foundation that inspires others to get involved in our efforts within the Autism community. Through community engagement, advocacy empowerment, and fundraising campaigns, we strive to break the barriers against youth and adults with neurological disabilities. We support organizations focused on equal employment opportunities, replicable housing models, and social engagement programs to allow autistic individuals to achieve a happy, quality lifestyle. The YMCA is a powerful association of men, women and children committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Relay is staffed and coordinated by volunteers in thousands of communities and 27 countries. Volunteers give of their time and effort because they believe it's time to take action against cancer.
The Department of Children and Families (DCF) works in partnership with families and communities to keep children safe from abuse and neglect. In most cases, DCF is able to provide supports and services to keep children safe with parents or family members. When necessary, DCF provides foster care or finds new permanent families for children through kinship, guardianship or adoption.
