We recommend an overnight trial to see if your product is compatible with the silicone bottle. If the bottle becomes warped, discolored, enlarged or if liquid evaporates, absorbs, or changes consistency, your product is not compatible. Please contact Cool Gear immediately if you find an undesirable reaction in our tubes from your product. Cool Gear will send a replacement tube of similar size and color (if available) as a replacement.
General FAQ
1. Are your products BPA free?
Yes, all items produced after 2008 are made free of BPA. To find the date of production, check the bottom engraving of your product. The last 4 digits are the month and year of production.
2. Are your products food safe?
Yes, all our products are third party tested and compliant under US regulatory requirements, including California Proposition 65. We do not use BPA or phthalates in our manufacturing process.
3. Do you have lead in your products?
The standard pellet used in our vacuum seal contains trace amounts of lead within USA standard. After the vacuum-sealing process, the soldered area is covered with a stainless seal cap, making the lead inaccessible to consumers and far away from food contact surfaces. As an extra precaution, all children's Stainless products are sealed with a lead-free pellet.
If this button is damaged and the solder is exposed, please reach out to the customer service email or call 281-394-6890 and we will be happy to replace your item as this falls under our warranty.
4. Is your freezer gel non-toxic?
Yes! Our gel is water based and non-toxic. For any leaking or broken freezer items, please call us at 281-394-6890
5. Where can I purchase replacement parts?
We sell 10 packs of reusable straws on our website. For other parts, please send a photo with your request using the form for customer service inquiries.
6. What is your replacement policy?
We pride ourselves on the design and quality of our products and stand behind them 100%. Cool Gear will replace products that are defective due to a factory error or damage taken during transit. We reserve the right to send a comparable product, style or design if the one that you have is out of stock or discontinued. Normal wear and tear and misplaced parts are not covered by this policy.
7. Should I remove the freezer stick from the cap before placing it in the freezer?
Only freezer gel filled components should go in the freezer. All other components should be stored elsewhere
